Our In-Home "Home Help" Consultation Includes:
Project cost saving advice that could help save you a lot of money.
Project budgeting help so you don’t have any unexpected costly surprises.
Window recommendations (energy efficiency and product attributes to look for). We will advise you as to whether or not you even need new windows, and offer advice on how you should make sure your windows are installed properly.
Roofing evaluations. We will let you know if you need a new roof or just a repair. We will let you know if you need to have the existing roof torn off or you can just go over top. We will recommend the proper roof system based on the structure of your home in either case.
Energy saving recommendations. You may need only to invest a little money to save a lot on energy bills... potentially saving you thousands of dollars.
Product warranty advice – We can tell you how to ensure your product warranty will not become invalid.
Housing envelope evaluations and advice. Air barrier and insulating methods.
Advice on product quality insurance.

2. Energy Rating Services - Provided Separately

You can also have your home tested to see exactly what you should do to improve your energy performance. We offer tests that will show you exactly where you have hot and cold air transferring in and out of your home. There are different tests depending on how detailed you wish them to be.

Home energy ratings are done utilizing a blower door (inserted into an existing open door) and a thermal imaging camera (depending on the test chosen). These ratings show you the exact air leakage rate in your home. They will also show you where you need to focus your air sealing efforts, and where you need insulation added to help your home become more energy efficient.

The Complete Energy Rating (Audit) is a thorough evaluation/inspection of the home with a complete written analysis, along with thermal imaging, of the current potential energy savings within your home.
